American Heart Association provides infant CPR kits to parents
In a bid to equip expecting parents with life-saving skills, the American Heart Association distributed 500 Infant CPR kits on Tuesday morning. These kits, designed by the association, aim to educate parents on essential techniques to save their baby’s life in choking emergencies.
The distribution of these kits was made possible through a generous donation of $25,000 from the Tempur Sealy Foundation. With Kentucky’s infant mortality rate reported to be 5.6 percent above the national average, the foundation is dedicated to tackling this issue head-on.
By empowering parents with the knowledge and tools included in these CPR kits, the American Heart Association and the Tempur Sealy Foundation aspire to make a significant impact in reducing the state’s infant mortality rate. Through initiatives like this, they aim to create a safer environment for infants and save precious lives.
Expecting parents who received these kits now have the confidence and ability to respond effectively in critical situations, ensuring the well-being and safety of their little ones.
