2. Identifying Purposes
We collect, use and disclose Personal Information to provide you with the product or service you have requested and to offer you additional products and services we believe you might be interested in. Due to more personal information being collected from EMT and LPN IV Students such as Date of Birth, Driver's License, Social Security numbers and Drug Screen results, we have implemented a VPN or Virtual Private Network which encrypts all incoming and outgoing information along with a Data Breach Scanner. This is the highest level of security that we, or any company can provide.
Knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of Personal Information except where required or permitted by law. Providing us with your Personal Information is always your choice. However, your decision not to provide certain information may limit our ability to provide you with our products or services. We will not require you to consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of information as a condition to the supply of a product or service, except as required to be able to supply the product or service.
4. Limiting Collection
The Personal Information collected will be limited to those details necessary for the purposes identified by us. With your consent, we may collect Personal Information from you in person, over the telephone or by corresponding with you via mail, facsimile, or the Internet.
5. Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Personal Information may only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected unless you have otherwise consented, or when it is required or permitted by law. Personal Information will only be retained for the period of time required to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it or as may be required by law.
The website that hosts savingamericanhearts.com has installed robot texts that prevent search engines from being able to crawl certain web pages such as customer orders which contain credit card information. Our credit cards processor (Square) prevents credit card numbers from being saved in the system with out the signature and approval of the customer.
Our website and online documents are secured by complicated passwords that are changed regularly.
RIGHT TO OPT OUT
You have the right to Opt Out of our use of your personal data at any time by emailing email@example.com with your request to opt out. Information kept will be first name, last name, date and order # and amount to record payments for services received by you, and for tax purposes. Your information will never be sold for profit or in exchange for service or company or personal benefit. Saving American Hearts, INC does not keep credit card numbers, expiration dates or CVC codes.
We shall comply with an opt-out request by:
1. Ceasing to Process the Consumer’s online and offline Personal Data for the Opt-Out Purpose(s) as soon as feasibly possible and without undue delay, but no later than fifteen (15) days from the date the Controller receives the request, taking into account the size and complexity of the Controller’s businesses and burden of operationalizing the opt-out.
We will maintain a record of the opt-out request and response, in compliance with 4 CCR 904-3, Rule 6.11.
Personal Information will be maintained in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used.
7. Safeguarding Customer Information
Personal Information will be protected by security safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity level of the information. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information from any loss or unauthorized use, access or disclosure.
We will make information available to you about our policies and practices with respect to the management of your Personal Information.
9. Customer Access
Upon request, you will be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of your Personal Information, and will be given access to it. Once your OPT OUT request has been received, information kept will include your first and last name, order number, date and amount paid for the purpose of record keeping for IRS purposes.
Your phone number, email and any additional information will be deleted except that required to process your order and that required by Associations for the purpose of issuing certifications and proof of attendance in class.
These records are kept confidential and are encrypted with a VPN.
Your phone, email, address and other information will not be disclosed unless required by a health care facility such as for clinical orientations.
Your information will never be sold.
