Why One Taylor Swift Song Can 'Help You Save a Life'
While fans over the years have stated how Taylor Swift changed their lives in a variety of ways, the singer also has a song that can officially help you save a life.

The American Heart Association declared that Swift's song "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?" from The Tortured Poets Department is 120 beats per minute, which is "the right tempo for Hands-Only CPR."

"Hey Swifties, do you have tickets to the final leg of #TSTheErasTour?" asked the American Heart Association on Instagram. "You should be … making friendship bracelets. You should be … painting 13 on your hand. You should be… memorizing 'Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.' Because it could help you save a life with Hands-Only CPR."

In the comments, one fan joked, "Nah, I’d be trying to dance the whole time," before talking about an often-referenced song for CPR, saying, "My favorite to use is Another One Bites the Dust."

Along with "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?", Swift has a number of songs that the American Heart Association deemed appropriate for hands-only CPR if the beats per minute range from 100 to 120, via Today.

This includes “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)" at 107 beats per minute, “imgonnagetyouback" at 110 beats per minute, and "I Hate It Here" at 105 beats per minute from The Tortured Poets Department, along with a few others from the album.

There are some from other Swift albums on the list as well, such as "The Man" from Lover. Most recently, the American Heart Association posted that Swift's hit song "Love Story" from Fearless has the right tempo for hands-only CPR at 119 beats per minute.
