Immediate life-saving action is crucial to helping someone in cardiac arrest.
Residents could make all the difference by calling 911 and starting hands-only CPR. This training provides an easy and effective method for any bystander to double or even triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival.
Additionally, the use of an AED can restore a normal heartbeat rhythm after cardiac arrest and learning how to operate an AED is essential.
