American Heart Association New Mexico raising awareness for women’s heart health

February is American Heart Month and emphasizes the importance of cardiovascular health and the urgent need for widespread CPR training.

On February 26 from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. is the 2025 New Mexico Go Red For Women Luncheon and Survivor Fashion Show at Hotel Albuquerque. The Go Red for women campaign aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, build awareness for women’s heart health and raise funds to support research. The fashion show will feature heart disease and stroke survivors who will share their stories and raise awareness about women’s heart health. Guests who attend will get a chance to learn about heart disease prevention and participate in educational sessions.
