Texas Heart Institute Celebrates American Heart Month 2022
Every February the whole country focuses on the heart for American Heart Month. Texas Heart Institute is taking part again virtually this year, sending representatives to many online events and hosting others to spread awareness and increase knowledge. As someone with a heart, you are invited to join Texas Heart Institute in our 60th anniversary year for this 2022 celebration of all things related to the heart.
February 1-28 – February is American #HeartMonth. This year’s focus is on self-care and hypertension. (Last year we wrote up a short history of heart month)
February 1-28 – February is also Marfan Awareness Month. Marfan syndrome affects the heart and can cause aortic aneurysms.
February 4 – Celebrate National Wear Red Day / Día de Vestir de Rojo by wearing red to bring awareness to heart disease
