Should I take the online BLS course, or the BLS classroom course?

Should I take the online BLS course, or the BLS classroom course?

The online course takes 2 to 4 hours on average. Once complete you'll get a certificate that you

need to bring to an in person hands on skills session which takes about 2 hours.

The online course is $28.50 for the 2015 guidelines HeartCode BLS Course and $31 for the 2020 HeartCode BLS Course.

The hands on skills session is $35.

The online + hands on can take up to 6 hours total and ranges in cost from $63.50 to $66 depending on if you choose the 2015 Guidelines or the 2020 Guidelines.

If you prefer the online course, go to www.elearning.heart.org and create and account or log in. The course you

need is called HeartCode BLS or HeartCode BLS Online.

If you just take the classroom renewal, it's 2 hours total and is $50 and includes the E-Book.

The New 2020 Guidelines have already come out so the 2015 version will be disappearing soon.

I say just come to the BLS Renewal class for 2 hours and be done. Even if you do the online course, you

still have the 2 hour hands on skills to do.

For our classroom courses, everyone in the office must wear a mask. Students are all 6 feet apart (we cut down walls to make this happen). We clean everything with CaviWipes and bleach and no one shares equipement.
