Saving American Hearts, INC COVID-19 Compliance Guidelines for the Workplace

Saving American Hearts, INC is open throughout COVID-19 to continue to provide you with ACLS, BLS, PALS, IV Certification, NRP and PHTLS

Here's our COVID-19 Compliance Guidelines:

We are so dedicated to keeping 6 feet apart that we've literally knocked down walls to make it happen.

1). No one shall enter our office without a mask and a sign is posted on the door. Please do not enter without a mask. Knock, and a mask will quickly be brought to you. Your mask must cover your nose and mouth at all times.

2). Students are asked to reschedule their class and stay home if they, or any immediate household members have signs or symptoms of illness.

3). If you have actively been caring for COVID patients, we ask that you wear two masks if this does not compromise your breathing.

4). We use CaviWipes to clean doorknobs, hand rails, equipment, the coffee pot, creamer, sugar containers, any thing you might have touched and everything we might have touched. We are making hourly rounds to clean everything to the best of our ability.

5). Employees and students are actively encouraged to wash their hands frequently, as soap and water are immediately available inside our office. Employees and students should frequently use the 90% alcohol hand sanitizer available throughout the office and classrooms as well as Kleenex. Our office has a kitchenette where you can wash your hands with soap, and our office is right next door to the restroom and water fountain. If you prefer, we will provide you with gloves to wear throughout the course. We

6). Students will have equipment assigned to them alone, for the duration of the course and is not to be shared between students.

7). Employees are asked to self monitor for COVID symptoms and stay home from work if they have a fever, shortness of breath or any new symptom that suggests they may be sick.

8). Employees who have taken a COVID test due to illness or exposure will remain home in quarantine until negative COVID results are presented.

9). Our ventilation system is in proper working order and when weather permits, we will increase air circulation by opening windows.

10). We discourage using another person's cell phone, tools and equipment.

11). We have taken steps to minimize the number of employees and students inside the office at one time by alternating classes scheduled and days of the week to allow employees to maintain full time hours.

12). We do not require any doctor's note or documentation in order for an employee to stay home if they feel ill or need to care for a sick friend or family member.

13). When possible, employees who are able, are encouraged to work from home.
