How to claim and access your American Heart Association Electronic Card
In order to claim your AHA E-Card, you first need to wait for the email from "ecards@heart.org". Be sure to check your spam folder as often it is there. Once you receive the email you must open it to activate your card.
AFTER you have activated your card go to: www.heart.org/cpr/mycards
You will be directed to the Welcome to My Cards page
Under “Students”: Enter your first name, last name, and the email address your E-Card was initially emailed to when you claimed it
Click “Submit” You will then be directed to the Security Question page
Answer the security question you created when you initially claimed your E-Card then Click “Submit”. You will then be directed to your own personal E-Card page
You will see all of your E-Cards There will be a green “Active” banner across the left side of each active E-Card Click on the numerical hyperlink next to “ID” on your active eCard This will open a new window with your actual E-Card
Scroll to the bottom of the page On the bottom left of the page will be three red buttons: “Print Full Size” (This will print a full 8 ½ x 11 inch E-Card page)
“Print Wallet Size” (This will print a wallet size card you can cut out of an 8 ½ x 11 inch page)
“View my E-Cards (This will take you back to the previous page listing all of your E-Cards
Employers: Visit: www.heart.org/cpr/mycards
You will be directed to the Welcome to My Cards page
Under “Employer” Enter the E-Card code your employee provided
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red “Print Full Size” button
