AHA PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support Renewal
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Renewal or PALS Renewal is a 6 hour classroom course that uses videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. The PALS Course teaches the treatment for Cardiac and or Respiratory Arrest and Shock in infants and children. PALS also teaches Pediatric CPR, the use of a bag mask and an AED for 1 and 2 rescuers. Participants practice skills with the video, participate in the megacode practice and testing as well as take a 50 question written exam with a passing score of 84% or better.
