Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers hands on practice and skills testing session is an in person classroom course taken after the student completes the American Heart Association E-Learning course called Heartcode BLS. HeartCode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. The online course can be taken by going to onlineaha.org. The online portion of the course is $28.50. The in person hands on skills testing portion is $35.
